Saturday Princess Waffles

Natalie (and Amanda) had their 2nd LEMONADE STAND of the summer at Auntie's garage sale and it was a SUCCESS! Many neighborhood children came - and then back for more too! Lemonade for $0.25! YUM! That was our slogan for HOT day and it worked!

August 24

More school supply shopping for Natalie! Can't believe it, SCHOOL SUPPLY SHOPPING?! Look at her, what a big girl. It just amazes me. She amazes me. She is so smart.

Here is Natalie displaying a couple of CUTE items from the Target Dollar Spot that she is going to buy with her proceeds from her Lemonade Stand.

After stopping in Party City to refill Natalie's Tinkerbell birthday balloon, we saw a lot of comotion in front of the pet store next door. We went to take a look and they had puppies 'on display' that you could pet and adopt. It was very sweet (and kind of sad) to see the puppies. Natalie already wants one, so, of course, she was trying to butter me up, but I held the puppy and let her help me and we pet him. He was very sweet & cuddly. Hard to put him back, but I am sure he has by now found a happy owner. I promised Natalie when we get a bigger house and when everyone in the family (including Ryan) is ready for a dog, we can look for one that is right for our family. She agreed. Uh, buys me SOME time anyway....right?

This picture of Ryan was not planned, but when it happened I immediately thought of this picture we have of Daddy when he was a little tyke. So adorable!

So, we were at Grandma & Grandpa's celebrating Papa's birthday and Daddy got the frisbee out. Amanda is really good at playing frisbee. Although, she is pretty good at all things sports related, so far, anyway! You go girl!


Grandma Jane does her Grandmotherly duties by taking the little ones for a wagon ride/walk around the block! What a good Grandma Jane!
