Oct. 6 - Visiting Lisa's Resting Place and Shopping Always Makes us Feel Better

Amanda, Ryan and I made a stop at Lisa's Resting
Place, to bring some pumpkins.  We both SO loved Halloween and Fall and I wanted to be sure that she had these pumpkins that we picked from Papa's garden.  Amanda got ahold of my camera and was
taking all kinds of pictures. But the one of me was when I was just standing there crying with my face burried in my hands....I had no idea she took this until I downloaded the pictures. It just defines the moments we are there.  Crying, praying, talking to Lisa. Just being there.
On a lighter note, we started our search for Christmas dresses, yes, in October, with Grandma Catey. We ended up at TJ Maxx and no Christmas dresses yet, but Natalie did find a beautiful Queen Halloween costume that Grandma decided to get for her dress up closet and for Natalie to wear for Halloweeen. I will get some more pictures up soon. It's absolutely stunning.

Oct. 3 - Lisa's 20-Year High School Reunion

Rob & I went to Lisa's 20-year High School Class Reunion together. As many of you know, Lisa passed away unexpectedly July 7, 2009. She was the one person that wanted to get this reunion going way back when she was still living in California. Lisa loved her classmated and friends and they loved her. How could you not. So the evening was another bittersweet event in my life. Rob kept my hand full with a glass of wine all night, which made things much easier and a little fun! We ate, talked, danced, laughed, reminisced, cried. Rob brought a table full of things "Lisa" and lots of pictures. She was there, just in spirit. Oh and my baby brother Tony was the most awesome DJ for the evening!! We brought the party to the bar inside the hotel and then to Tony's house after that. Let's just say I haven't pulled an 'all-nighter' like that in well, a very long time.
Fun was had by all!
