Our baby is 6 months old already!

Hard to believe, but our little babe, Ryan, turned 6 months old on Christmas. Here are his official pictures. What a big boy, sitting up so well. He actually was waving 'hi' and 'bye' tonight back to Grandma Diamond. It was so cute. He is so alert and constantly watches everything around him. He especially loves to watch Natalie and Amanda playing. He is enjoying his rice cereal and bananas, so far. He is officialy 20 lbs. 8 oz. as of today. Healthy, Happy and lovin' life.

Happy New Year 2008!

Well, we are back from Los Angeles. It was a whirlwind trip, but we are so thankful we could be there for Bob's wake/funeral and especially just to be there for Jane, Rob & Lisa. We started off here at 4:30am on Wednesday, Jan. 2, dropped the girls off in St. Charles with Grandma & Grandpa Catey and had a 8'ish am flight out of O'hare. A stopover in San Francisco and landed in L.A. about 2:30ish pacific time. Rob picked us up and after a quick In 'n Out stop and Wal-Mart (for chains for the car to go up the moutains, just in case) we headed up to Big Bear. Jane had a wonderful 'Christmas dinner' ready for us upon our arrival at about 7:30pm & Sydney was SO HAPPY to see us. After dinner and a visit, headed to our hotel. Got to sleep about midnight. So it was about a 22 hour day for us.

Thursday we drove to Glendora for the wake services and funeral on Friday. It was an emotional 2 days. Scott and I were so very happy that we could be there to support Jane and Rob.

Bob was a very-well liked and loved man. We will miss him dearly. May Bob Rest in Peace.

We wrapped up our trip with a quick visit w/Holly and the kids in Woodland Hills, did some shopping at our old (new!) mall, had a Pinkberry (plain with yogurt chips & coconut!) (http://www.pinkberry.com/html/pbmain.php)

and then went to The Grove in L.A. for some more shopping and of course Littlejohn's in the Farmer's Market

for mine & Lisa's favorite, Marshmallows Delights!
And red-eye flights home are not recommended, especially when you have 2 little girls that are so excited to have their family home! But, we are happy to be home.
