July 29th - Jim Gill Concert
This night we attended a concert by Jim Gill at the library and it was a lot of fun. The kids all boogied down and wiggled to the music! The Washing Machine is washing me clean!!! Sing it!
July 29th - Babes in the Woods, Caterpillar to Butterfly
Amanda, Ryan and I went to this cute little (free!) monthly class offered by our Forest Preserve. This was Amanda's first time going w/o Natalie (she was at Grandma's!) and so now that she is 3 yrs old she is officially old enough to attend! They listened to The Very Hungry Caterpillar story while Amanda played with the plush caterpillar and painted coffee filters, got them wet and folded them up and let them dry in the sun while we tool nets to try to catch a butterfly in the park. When we returned the coffee filters were dry and the kids made a butterfly with it scrunched in to a clothes pin! Cute! Amanda had a wonderful time and especially liked trying to catch a butterfly (they are too fast though!) and flying her handmade butterfly around the park! Meanwhile, Ryan spilled my entire LARGE DIET COKE from McD's on to the floor. I was devestated...not upset w/him, just upset I lost my entire ice-cold DIET COKE! haha!
Natalie, Kit and Coconut were off to Grandma's house for the day, bright and early!

The girls jump on the trampoline at Grandma Catey's house! Natalie is in her dress-up skirt - hehe!
