The day started with the little ones looking so adorable. I must tell them that 1,000 times a day. I can't help it - I think my kids are the cutest! And they are!
The Stories in the Park series is always fun in the summer. The library holds this class in different parks each week within the city. This time, it was 'Meet the Teacher' with teachers from Natalie's new school-to-be. We weren't lucky enough to see or meet her teacher, but we still had fun meeting the 1st and 2nd grade teachers. They read us books while we ate our lunch.
Ryan had fun playing 'maze' between the aisles of Aunt Sherry's boxes in G&G Catey's garage!
Amanda makes sure every one of Grandma's flowers is watered!
Off to the Kane County Cougars game with G&G, Auntie, Uncle, Sydney. It was the painter's district council night so Grandpa always gets us FREE tickets to the game! Anyway, the clown at the entrance will a little intimidating for Amanda, but then she warmed up to him when he asked her "do you want a piece of candy?!" Haha!
One of the other perks to going to this annual event is that the painter's council gives $5 Ozzies Dollars/seat to spend on concessions, souveniers. So we got lots of hot dogs, pop, popcorn and fries! Not to mention cotton candy, peanuts....
Daddy tool the kids to the fun zone again. This seems to work about 1/2 way thru the game. The kids need to run off some energy, so he takes them to this area and they run & bounce around!
Here we are hugging and with Ozzie the Cougar's mascot!
Ryan is always a dream at these games, until.......look at this last picture....tired baby boy!
After fireworks, Daddy and the girls run the bases!
