Well, when you are in the U.P. of Michigan, you just find old-fashioned ways to stay busy and have fun. I guess that's why I like going so much. We just visit, make fun, keep it low key and the highlight of shopping is Saykley's Gift & Chocolate Shop, Vinny's Thrift Store & SHOPKO! Maggie got out her old recital outfits for the girls to play in and they had an absolute fantastic time. My family always makes us feel so welcome and loved. It's like a breath of fresh air, literally, going up there. Life is simpler there. And as much as I enjoy it while I'm there, I am happy to get home to civilization and real shopping!
