We made it across the Michigan border!
We stopped at the nursing home and had a lovely visit with my Grandpa and the kids just adore their Great Grandpa. He passed away a few short months later....and so we were so grateful to have had this last visit with him.
Grandpa's sister Katie was also in the nursing home at the same time and actually passed soon after our visit.
