The kids were so excited to wake up to see where their Elf on the Shelf would be. This became quite the entertainment piece throughout the holiday....never knew where he'd be - on the window sill, in the living room, office, high, low, hidden....here is Amanda having a little talk with him.
Another Christmas tradition we have continued is going to Grandma Catey's church for the Pancake Breakfast w/Santa. Natalie named it "The Eating Church" and so now that's what we call it. We have breakfast w/G & G Catey and get to see Santa and have pictures taken!
Next, I had planned for the girls and I to go to the pottery place so they could paint some Christmas gifts for the Grandma & Grandpas. We chose beautiful serving platters and the girls started with their hand prints (Ryan would come in a couple of days) which would eventually become 3 flowers. We all had SO MUCH fun together and keeping our secret until Christmas!!
Back home to put some more decorations on the Christmas tree and Amanda got to hang the traditional Boots ornament and get her picture taken hanging it!
