Natalie had been asking to get a library card and I told her we'd do it when we signed up for the Summer Reading Program...well, they aren't doing the summer program b/c of the new library opening and the renovation of the current library, but Natalie still got her library card....
Here she is signing her name on the card...the one requirement for a library card!
And then she gets a sticker that says "I got my library card today!"

Amanda wanted a library card too, but the librarian gave her some practice cards for practicing writing her name and she was happy to play on the computer in the children's library
