Nov. 1 - Greenup, IL Trip

Well, we made our much anticipated trek to GREENUP, IL on this beautiful Fall day. We love visiting Greenup. We feel like we are 'getting away', but it's only 3-4 hrs. away. Immediately after the Fairytale Princess Wedding, we got on the road. We made it there with snacks, lunch and naps in the car. We did have one last stop to make before we entered town....
Yes, this would be our 2nd 'annual' potty stop on the side of the road (or rather in the road). Natalie started this tradition last year. She couldn't wait to go potty, so we stopped and well, went on the side of the road. This time, it was Amanda's turn. As you can see, she is quite comfortable out there...takin' her time!
We headed right to the fields to see Jr. harvesting the bean field.
I thought this picture came out really neat. Daddy throwing Amanda up in the air in the middle of the field with the sun shining down upon them!

Ryan wanted it all to himself.

This was a little park near the fields. The people across the street know the family and so therefore we had free reign. The trampoline was a hit with all of the kids.

Whoa!
Ryan tried out the swings (for about 5 seconds) on the playset

After all of the excitement on the farm, we headed back to Jr. and Rogene's for a wonderful home-cooked meal. Always delicious! Rogene is the best! Anyway, Reta, Liv & Rachel as well as many others were there to visit!

I love these pictures, just havin' fun!
Isn't she precious?!

After a fun-filled afternoon on the farm and a delicous meal and visiting, it was time to go to our hotel with a SWIMMING POOL! And can you believe I do not have one picture to document this event?! Oh well. We had fun!
