Since Natalie started Kindergarten and gets out of school just before lunch time, she is always asking me "Where/What are we doing for lunch?" She wants to go to McD's every day. It's so cute. So, on this day, I said we were just going home for lunch (like we usually do) and she said "How about a picnic for lunch?" I thought about it for a second and said "YES, that is a great idea!" So we went home and I packed the picnic basket up with lots of goodies and options and we headed to a new park a couple of miles away to spice things up. They didn't have picnic tables, so we just spread the picnic blanket out and had a lovely time together. Lunch didn't last long, b/c all 3 kids wanted to play at the park, go figure! Lots of fun. And leave it up to Natalie to come up with a great idea to spice up our day. She is great like that.
