August 19 - Amanda's 3rd Birthday!

Get ready for another day of celebrating! Amanda turns 3 today! What a big girl! I can't believe our baby girl is 3 already.

Grandma Diamond treated us (Amanda, Ryan, Mommy, Auntie Lisa, Sydney, Grandma Jane) to lunch at McDonald's Play Place for Amanda's birthday. Ironically, the rules posted in the play area note that the minimum age to play in there is 3 years and she's been playing in there for a long time now already. Haha! Anyway, she ended up having to rescue Ryan. As you can see in the picture below, he got too far away from me in the tube and off he went. I had to send Amanda (good thing she's 3 now) up to get him and bring him back down. And she did it! Ryan sure thought he was hot stuff up there though. Check him out!

Amanda gets a GIANT birthday card from Grandma Diamond and Papa with $3!

The celebrating continues at G&G Cateys. All of the girls/cousins help Amanda make her birthday cake with the help of Grandma, of course!

Amanda wanted to go in to hiding (like Natalie did on her bday) in the laundry room to frost her cake. She made the frosting purple (her fave color) and didn't want any help, except from Daddy and Mommy for Sprinkles!
