Well, we were literally on our way to Ravinia for the Ralph's World kids concert and it was down pouring. I mean, we literally knew the concert would be canceled. But, we finished the trip up there and entered the parking lot. Many others will still arriving for the concert which would be in an hour or so. It was still raining and the parking lot was filled with standing water. I was ready to give up the tickets and call it a loss. we saw many ppl. still walking in to the park and so we thought we'd wait until just before the concert and see if the rain would hold-off for the concert. Well, I am so glad we did b/c it stopped raining about a 1/2 hour before the start of the show. We went in and as you can see there was a lot of water, but the show would go an and it did, with no rain! We had a blast. The kids danced their little bottoms off!
So much for the picnic lunch - we ate that in the car while it was still down pouring! Haha!
