April - Week #1

Well, I am playing catch-up but wanted to get some cute pictures up of what we've been up to. The kids have been playing so nicely together lately. I think it must be the weather and being able to run off that extra energy outside too. At bedtime, they are in bed and ready for sleep. Haven't had Amanda coming in our room 5-10 times telling us she needs to go potty, needs water, her stuffed animal fell off the bed....etc. Ryan is all over the place, climbing the stairs..and he's having a hard time with his first tooth coming in. Really, the child is a dream. He barely complains and you know when he does it must hurt. Anyway, I'm hoping it pops thru soon, as they get easier after the first couple...and as I post this, he will be 10 months old tomorrow already. Breaks my heart, my baby is almost 1 year already. I wasn't kidding when I said I needed to start planning his birthday when we brought him home from the hospital!!!!

So Natalie came home from school and had this brilliant idea to make homemade apple juice. Well, we didn't have apples, but we had grapes, so she was all for that. After smashing about a handful of grapes and she was a little disappointed that she only had a few drops of juice, not enough to fill a cup. So, next time we will make orange juice. I think she will love that. She is just full of ideas, it never ends...I love it.

After Grandma & Grandpa C. came to watch the girls in their Saturday morning swim class, we went out to breakfast at IHOP and Amanda had the HORTON HEARS A WHO! meal! She ate some of the spinach eggs but loved the lollipop the best. What a cutie pie! She loves her sweets!

CUPCAKE MANIA!

We love cupcakes so we couldn't end CUPCAKE WEEK w/o celebrating with CUPCAKES! I of course decorated the girls' table w/the cupcake pillow and put them in their cupcake p.j.'s to round out the themed evening! Catey Cupcake Cafe, what do ya think? Maybe someday we will have our own cupcake cafe!

One more thing, I am seeing a funny trend in Amanda's pictures lately.....look @ the middle one above, yes, I must have more than 1/2 a dozen pictures of her like this in just the past month or so. Where did she learn how to do this? She is hysterical. What a funny girl.
